Q: Are their any setup fees?
A: Accel IT Solutions has no setup fees on hosting plans.
 
Q: How long does it take to setup my account?
A: Normally accounts are setup within 24 hours. It can be as fast as a few minutes.
 
Q: Can I use my account for commercial purposes?
A: Yes!
 
Q: How do I cancel my account?
A: Send an Email to support. Include your username and password.
 
Q: What if I go over my Accounts disk space limit?
A: Dont worry, we use a quota system which will not allow you to go over the limit.
 
Q: I am approaching my monthly bandwidth limit on my account. What will happen if I hit the limit?
A: You will recieve a warning email on the limit. Our overage charges are £3/GB per month.

Q: Why do my CGI scripts give me errors all the time?
A: make sure they are in the cgi-bin and have the correct permissions (755).
 
Q: How do I create customised error pages for my account?
A: When you FTP into your account you will see a directory called 'error_docs' and in there is the html files for each error condition. Edit these to show whatever you like.
 
Q: What are the UnitedHosting DNS server addresses?
A: Because we have many servers, the DNS server address depends on the name of the box your account is on. The address you need takes takes the form:
ns1.accel-it.com
ns2.accel-it.com
 
Q: What is Ensim?
A: Ensim is a web based control panel system aimed at making the user more in control of their own hosting/mail accounts.
 
Q: How do I access my Ensim control panel?
A: To access control panel you just need to put /admin on the end of your domain.
Example: www.mydomain.com/admin
 
Q: How can my additional users manage their accounts?
A: For your additional users to access their control panel they need to put /user on the end of your domain.
Example: www.mydomain.com/user
 
Q: Where are my website statistics located?
A: To access your website statistics you need to login to your site control panel and click the 'webalizer' link.
 
Q: Can I send and receive email over the web?
A: Yes you can! To access your webmail account just add /squirrelmail to the end of your domain.
Example: www.mydomain.com/squirrelmail
 
Q: How can I SSH into my account?
A: Using an SSH client such as Putty you can SSH to yourdomain.com and login with the following:
username#domain.com and normal password (please note the # not @)
 
Q: I'm unable to access any of my Ensim control panels, I cannot even see the login screen. What may be wrong?
A: You probably have a firewall/router that is blocking access to port 19638. This port must be clear before you can access the control panels.
 
Q: Where can I find your acceptable use policy or terms of service?
A: Our TOS is available here .
 
Q: I'm having problems SSH'ing into my account. What may be wrong?
A: Please make sure you're using # symbol for your username and NOT a @ symbol.
Example: username#mydomain.com
 
Q: How do I contact support if I have a problem?

Q: What is the path to perl?
A: /usr/bin/perl
 
Q: What is the path to sendmail?
A: /usr/sbin/sendmail
 
Q: My Vbulletin admin page doesnt work, why not?
A: Ensim takes any address with /admin on the end and loads the control panel.

To access your vbulletin admin area you need to use the full path:
http://domain.com/forum/admin/index.php (with index.php on the end)
