Support Contracts
Our support contracts ensure that your IT systems are
kept in the best possible shape by means of optional monthly engineer visits, free
telephone support and a remote link (VPN or Dial-up access) to your office. In addition,
contract customers are eligible for discounts and
priority support.

On-site maintenance visits - The visiting engineer
will go through a checklist of maintenance tasks for each workstation, server and network
appliance on your network, ensuring that your systems are set-up to run reliably.
- Remote Support - We use various remote access
technologies to provide a quick and cheap way of administering and updating your system
without the cost of an engineer call-out to your office.
- Free telephone support - Available to all clients, who
sign a maintenance contract. Customers are welcome to call us with any problem, whether it
is related to a server, workstation, peripheral or an application. The service is provided
Mon - Fri (9:30 to 17:30).
- Free e-mail support – Clients may also e-mail us
with problems outside our office hours and our engineers will always aim to provide a
speedy response.
- Discounted pre-pay rates - All contract customers are eligible for discounts of up to 20% off our standard support rates.
Summary of support charges
- Standard on-site response is between Mon - Fri (9:30 to
17:30)
- Call out charge – £20
- Hourly rate - £30 (charged in 1/2 hour intervals at £15)
- Work carried out after 17:30 Mon-Fri carries a
surcharge of 30% and 50% on weekends.
- Minimum charge per visit - £50 (includes 1 call-out
charge & 1 hour of engineer's time)
- Remote support – £26 p/h (charged at 1/4 hour
intervals at £6.50)
- Telephone/e-mail support – Only available to
contract customers, free of charge
Design
and Installation
Network design and installation, covering
all aspects of a Local Area Network implementation including the supply and physical
installation of cabling, bridges and gateways, servers and workstations, software etc.,
for both new networks and extensions to existing facilities. The charges for this vary
depending on the size and complexity of the project.
Network Audits
Network audit is a good way for companies to find out if
their hardware and network is running at optimum efficiency or if any software licences
are being breached.
Our Network Consultant can visit the your offices to
carry out a full audit of the current hardware and software installation. This will
include all investigative work, viable remedial actions and appropriate recommendations.
